Don’t go just for the cheapest option as if the work is not done to standard the letting agent will reject it and instruct their preferred cleaner to re-clean at your expense. By choosing a quality local based expert who is not aligned to the letting agents you can be assured of a quality job at a price that will be considerably less than the option given to you by your letting agent.
As a illustration I have recently done two end of tenancy carpet cleans in Oakham where the tenants had been given quotes by the agents preferred supplier. In each case he had quoted £177.00. I quoted £110 for one of the properties and £120 for the other. The agents were very happy with the standard of cleaning and the tenants got their deposits back.
