Soft furnishings are normally the centre piece of your room. You will want to keep them looking at their best throughout their inevitably eventful lives.

Upholstery cleaning is a more exact science than carpet cleaning with an even greater range of fabrics, often mixed together on the same suite. That makes then susceptible to damage by using inappropriate techniques or chemicals. We use advanced techniques to ensure a deep clean using either low or very low moisture methods that prevent damage being caused to the fabric and assist in fast drying.

Is upholstery cleaning safe ?

Most sofas and chairs are particularly effected around the arms from natural body oils soiling the fabric and on high backed chairs from hair oils and hair products. We deep clean the whole suite – even the bits you cannot see. Our range of specialist cleaning solutions allows us to deal with these issues and  return your furniture to its former glory.

As with carpets we only use the best cleaning solutions for your sofa cleaning. We have a wide range to choose from and select the most appropriate for you material type and the soiling on it. Our advanced settee cleaning methods that leave no residue on the fabric and are neutralised during the rinse process.

When will it be dry?

We also use the Sapphire Pro upholstery tool to maximise cleaning and minimise wetting. Unlike the old style hand tools still used by most carpet cleaners the Sapphire Pro gives amazingly fast drying times for the benefit of you and your upholstery. Turbo dryers  can also be used to speed up the drying process. Your furniture should normally be available for use the same day.

At the end of the cleaning process we can offer to treat the furniture with an advanced fabric protector which will help prevent and spillages from becoming stains and will help extend the life of the item. Again we have different protectors for the different types of fabrics . Ask us for a quote.

As with our carpet cleaning we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with any aspect of the sofa cleaning or chair cleaning we will return free of charge and re-clean the item. If you are still unhappy with our service we will refund you in full.

We also offer a free spot and stain warranty. We will remove accidental spots and stains that occur within 7 days of our settee cleaning clean free of charge. If you have chosen to have your furniture protected then we will extend the free warranty to 3 months.

11 Stage Cleaning Process

  1. Pre-clean inspection to establish the materials used in the upholstery
  2. Identify areas of concern including spots, stains, heavy soiling or issues over areas of damage or wear..
  3. Fibre test to ensure that the correct cleaning solution and technique is employed.
  4. Placing of the upholstery onto a protective sheet to shield the flooring underneath during the cleaning process.
  5. Thorough vacuum of the upholstery or curtains using our Sebo professional upright cleaner with turbo brush hand piece. This vital step can remove up to 80% of dry soiling from soft furnishings.
  6. Treatment of any spots of stains identified during the earlier inspection using our ‘spotting’ kit containing over 15 specialised products to deal with all eventualities.
  7. Dependent on the technique and cleaning solution identified at the examination stage, the solution is then applied using either a low moisture mist or very low moisture foam.
  8. Agitation. This is a vital part of the process as it ensures that the cleaning solution is distributed evenly throughout the fabric fibres to ensure a deep clean. Due to the delicate nature of upholstery fabrics this is undertaken by hand to ensure that no damage takes place, as could do if a machine were used.
  9. We the rinse out the solutions using only fresh water and extract using the powerful twin vacuums of our Jaguar 6.6 machine, the most powerful portable extraction machine available , and the Sapphire Pro low moisture handtool, to ensure that the fabric is left as dry as possible.
  10. We then assist the drying process with the use of our ‘whole room’ dryers which assist in circulating the air, noticeably speeding up the drying process, or our direct air turbo blowers, as appropriate.
  11. Finally, where appropriate with a piled fabric, we groom the pile to ensure a uniform appearance and to further aid drying.
